Tradezella Alternative
An honest comparison. Tradezella is a solid journal with great trade replay. Tradavity offers a free plan, prop firm tracking with 170+ presets, and a different approach to discipline. Here's how they stack up.
Design Matters
Dark-first design. Clean data hierarchy. P&L calendar, equity curve, and daily breakdown — all in one view without clutter.
Functional, but busier. More visual noise, lighter theme. The data is there — the presentation is different.

Honest Assessment
Tradezella requires payment before you can even see the platform. No free plan, no free trial. Tradavity lets you start at $0 and offers a 7-day Pro trial.
Both platforms offer trade replay. Tradezella's is more mature — tick-by-tick with executions plotted on charts, including Level II data on their Premium plan. Tradavity's replay is part of its dedicated backtesting platform.
170+ built-in presets for TopStep, Apex, FTMO, and many more. Automatic drawdown monitoring, profit targets, payout eligibility tracking. Tradezella is not optimized for prop firm traders.
They claim 500+ broker imports via CSV. Tradavity currently supports around 10+ brokers for CSV import. Auto-sync coverage is similar (both support Tradovate/NinjaTrader), but Tradezella has more CSV schemas.
3-tier system: Strategy, Setup, and Confirmation levels let you organize rules more granularly. Trade grading, risk rules, exit conditions. Tradezella uses Playbooks with 25+ templates — a different approach, less structured.
Both platforms track trading habits. Tradavity uses six types of structured protocol checklists (pre-market, pre-trade, post-trade, end-of-day). Tradezella uses emotional tagging (confident, fearful, impulsive). Different approaches — Tradavity's is more systematic.
100,000+ traders, 10,000+ member Discord, and a Spaces feature for sharing trades with mentors. Tradavity is newer and doesn't have a built-in social or mentorship feature.
Link multiple funded accounts, auto-duplicate trades across them, get combined analytics. Essential for prop traders running several accounts simultaneously. Tradezella doesn't offer this.
Tradavity's mobile app is coming soon. Tradezella does not currently offer a mobile app either. Both platforms are primarily web-based.
$19/mo yearly for full access to everything. Tradezella's full access (Premium) is $33/mo yearly — nearly double. Their Basic plan at $24/mo limits you to 1 account and 1GB storage.
Zella University offers structured courses, bootcamps, and webinars. Tradavity focuses on tools, not teaching — we have a help center with docs and guides, but not a course platform.
